HOME OWNERSHIP PROGRAM

Quin Rivers provides the Virginia Housing Development Authority's (VHDA) Homebuyer Education course in an effort to educate consumers about all aspects of the home-buying process.  Highlighted topics presented by professionals working in each field include: personal finance, credit, the role of the real estate agent, the role of the lender, the home inspection, and the mortgage loan.  Persons completing the course receive a certificate good for one year's time that is necessary to qualify for a VHDA home loan product. 

While the information in the course is ideal for people planning on purchasing a home soon after course completion, it is also worthwhile for those just entering the home-buying arena.
